Our staff picks this week's game between Carolina and Indianapolis.
The Panthers tie their highest scoring output of the season, throwing 27 up against the Colts in what turns out to be their second straight win. Bryce Young looked really good last week despite facing a bunch of pressure throughout the entirety of the game. If the o-line can keep him upright, I like Carolina's chances to move to 2-6 on the season.Sunday is going to be a physical game, but I’m giving the edge to the Panthers.
That being said, I look for Young to carve up the Colts defense by making quick and intermediate passes to Thielen and Tremble, and Chark on the long ball. I look forward to seeing how OC Thomas Brown calls the plays in his second game doing so.The Thomas Brown offense last week showed a lot of promise, and this weekend’s matchup is a great opportunity to build on that success. The matchup against the Colts had the makings of another tight game wire to wire.
