A September heatwave has seen temperatures soar across Scotland, with the warm weather set to continue on Friday into the weekend.
BBC forecaster Kawser Quamer summarised Friday's weather: "Temperatures reaching the mid to high twenties, 28 or 29 degrees Celsius in a few spots." The Met Office expects temperatures ranging from 22C to 25C on Saturday, with Aberdeen and the north east coast set for the warmest weather.
