The woman was discovered in the village of Bucksburn, a suburb of Aberdeen, earlier this afternoon.
The woman, whose name and age are not yet know, passed away in the Bucksburn area of the Granite City today
A probe is now underway to establish exactly how she died, but the force says her death is not believed to be suspicious. It's understood she was found stricken near to a pond close to Auchmill Golf Club. A third added: "The area was taped off from the farm track road up to the golf course." And a fourth said: "I was walking my dog there just a few minutes ago."
