Kevin Brady, 44, will be on chemotherapy for the rest of his life after the devastating diagnosis.
A Scots dad has been left heartbroken after his stomach pains were diagnosed as stage four bowel cancer.
He told Glasgow Live : "I felt totally numb and shocked. My first reaction was how long have I got? I have bad neuropathy from the chemo and my feet and toes are numb and sore making it hard to walk. Everything has changed so much and we are just living day to day. I’ve been told I will be on chemo for the rest of my life and they can’t operate."
"I kept saying ‘no way, it can’t be’. My whole world felt like it was crashing down. He’s so young and I can’t do life without him. Seeing him like this is not easy at all. Our plans have all had to totally change and we are worried, living on edge daily."

Body found in search for missing Scots dad Daniel FraserA body has been found in the search for missing Scots dad Daniel Fraser. Officers from Police Scotland launched a frantic search to trace the 35-year-old from Drylaw, Edinburgh, after he was last seen on January 7. A body was discovered in the water at Musselburgh Lagoons on Sunday, February 11. Police say formal identification is yet to take place, but Daniel's family have been made aware. There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
