Sophie Wilson, 8, wrote about her 'cleaning experience' from tidying her bedroom
A Scottish schoolgirl penned a heartwarming job application to a shop near her home - despite being just eight years old.
Sophie wrote: "I am very friendly and I think I would be good for this job because I am good at counting and I have good timekeeping skills. Sophie's mum Joanne McNaught and dad Paul Wilson said they were very proud of their daughter's initiative. Owner Manoj Bhardwaj was so impressed he gave Sophie a Milky Bar for her efforts and promised her a job when she turns 16.
