A tattooed thug once jailed for attempted murder sexually assaulted a woman outside a Scots pub
Robert Hogan faces being caged again after pouncing on the victim as she smoked a cigarette beside an Edinburgh bar.
Hogan, whose face is extensively tattooed, appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Thursday and pled guilty to sexual assault. Mr McCrossan said Hogan was also in the South Charlotte Street bar and engaged the women in conversation at around 2pm. Defence agent Nigel Bruce said Hogan had a record for violence but “nothing remotely like this” offence.The solicitor said Hogan was an alcoholic and had been in an “inebriated state” when the incident occurred on September 15 2021.He added: “She made it abundantly clear this was not wanted.He told the court that Hogan had quit drinking and was doing charity work.
