An academy says that Ofsted's grade doesn't reflect the great education students get 🍎 🎓
Senior figures from a Scunthorpe secondary school have said they are “frustrated” by the inspection grade given by Ofsted.
Ofsted’s inspection was carried out on March 1 and 2. It rated the school’s behaviour and attitudes, and personal development as good. Mr Dalowsky’s view was echoed by St Lawrence Academy Trust CEO Mike Adnitt, who said: “We have always had confidence in the academy and what it does for the community.
The inspection report states that “core values of generosity, respect and forgiveness are well understood by both pupils and staff.” “Ours is an inclusive school with an ethos focused on the best interests of the child,” said Mr Dalowsky. “The report mentions many elements that we are incredibly proud of.”
