Everton manager Sean Dyche calls on his players to use the latest points deduction as motivation for the long-term revival of the club.
Sean Dyche urged his players to respond to Everton ’s latest points deduction and inspire the “rise of the Toffees ”. The Blues boss said he, his staff and squad could do little about the off-the-pitch blows that are buffeting the club this season - the latest being the two-point deduction handed out on Monday . That punishment, for breaching Premier League profit and sustainability regulations , was in addition to the six points already taken off Everton this season for a similar offence.
Everton legend backs campaign calling on Premier League chief Richard Masters to resign Everton get triple fitness boost but new Dominic Calvert-Lewin injury worry confirmed Dyche will spend this weekend preparing for the trip to Chelsea on Monday night. It will be Everton’s first match following the second deduction, one that has added further jeopardy to their battle for top-flight survival. The combined eight point penalty means a club that would otherwise be all but safe is now in the midst of a third consecutive punishing relegation battle.
