Residents near Dr. Jose Rizal Dog Park in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle were frustrated after a man in a stolen excavator ripped through the park.

Courtney said she called 911 about six times before officers got there. The man was still inside the stolen excavator when Courtney said police were able to arrest him. “It’s scary seeing someone with a big excavator going through the park, and it could have been a lot worse of a situation and he could have hurt people with it, he could have hurt more property with it," said Courtney.
