Thomas A. Huffman, 44, pleaded guilty Friday in county court to charges of third-degree murder and abuse of corpse.to reduced charges of tampering with evidence and abuse of corpse. He has yet to be sentenced.An offer to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter is on the table, First Assistant District Attorney Robyn Zeninger said.
Jameson had issues with Dorothy Huffman and on the day he was killed he became aggressive, used slurs and called her names. Huffman punched him in the face and then hit him with a paddle attached to a heavy wooden stick. Jameson punched Huffman in the stomach knocking him to the floor.At some point, Jameson started walking to the bathroom but collapsed. A witness to the assault tried to help him but could not because she was too weak due to medication.
