A security guard shot a man early Monday after a fight outside a club in north Houston, officials said.
Officers around 12:10 a.m. got a call about an assault in the 7700 block of Airline Drive that was upgraded to a shooting report while they were still on their way there, Lt. J.P. Horelica, of the Houston Police Department, told On Scene reporters. First responders found a man shot in the chest and took him to the hospital with serious injuries.
