The Safari Rally Z Tribute celebrates Nissan's win at the 1971 East African Safari Rally.
The Safari Rally Z Tribute will appear at SEMA alongside a replica of the Datsun 240Z Safari that took first place in 1971.The Tribute model sits two inches higher thanks to a revised suspension that includes special NISMO parts.The Tribute also rides on Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 225/65 tires that are fitted to unique black wheels.
The front end is decked out with six LED auxiliary lights, as well as a skid plate to protect the mechanical bits.The V-6 engine receives a tune from AMS Performance that sees horsepower rise north of the 400 mark.The Z is also fitted with a cold air intake, a carbon-fiber engine cover, a heat exchange, a twin-disc clutch and flywheel, and a cat-back exhaust.The interior remains mostly stock but features a map and auxiliary gauges that mimic the setup of the original rally car.
