One of Jack Grealish 's England teammates reportedly approached Gareth Southgate to gain an understanding of why the winger won't be at Euro 2024 .Grealish bagged just three goals in a tough season for him at Man City, but has been a constant presence for his country since Euro 2020.
The report states the player wanted to try to understand the decision to be able to help explain it to teammates.Some of Grealish's teammates visited his room after learning of his omission, with them seeing him as one of England’s best options from the substitute bench and a big character in the camp.

"They were tough calls, but we back our decisions but recognise we could’ve gone a different route. It was sad to have to deliver that news to them.”
