A 15-year-old girl is among seven people arrested following the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old man in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Police were called to Rose Avenue on Saturday evening where the victim was pronounced dead shortly after. Four 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 52-year-old man, 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Detectives are appealing for information, particularly CCTV and dashcam footage, from the surrounding areas.
A 15-year-old schoolgirl is among the seven people arrested by police after a teenager was stabbed to death on Saturday.
All seven people remained in police custody whilst officers continued their enquiries at the scene today. Officers were called to Rose Avenue in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, by the East Midlands Ambulance Service after an 18-year-old man was found with a stab wound at 8.20pm Detectives are particularly interested in any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage between the times of 7pm and 9pm in the areas of Heanor Road, Rose Avenue, Summerfields Way, Kedleston Drive and Peveril Drive.
