Seven postcodes in Greater Manchester have seen house prices fall by large amounts over the last year, including some surprising areas which you would least expect.
Our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data across Greater Manchester has revealed the seven postcodes where house prices have dropped the most this year - with prices in one area having fallen by almost £60,000.M13 M13, which covers homes in Ardwick, Longsight and Chorlton-on-Medlock, has seen property prices drop by the biggest amount across the region.
M15 House prices are also falling in Hulme, with the average property cost have dropped by 19.6 percent over the last year. You can now expect to buy a home for £252,703 compared to £314,177 last year. M4 In the M4 postcode, which covers homes in Ancoats and the Northern Quarter, the average house price is currently £256,529. This has dropped by 12.6 percent over the last year when homes were priced at around £293,564..
