UPDATE: Several Sonoma County schools remain closed today due to storm impacts such as flooding, power outages and closed roads, according to the county Office of Education.
As of Tuesday morning, the school districts that will close are: Fort Ross Elementary School District, the Guerneville School District, Horicon School District, Kashia School District and Montgomery Elementary.
Meteorologist Kari Hall has an update on the storm chance with high winds in the Microclimate Forecast. The county has already experienced fallen trees, lack of electricity, flooding, and other concerns related to storms the past week.
