Apple TV+ has announced that some new cast members are joining the dark comedy series.
A new trailer for Severance season 2 has been released by Apple TV+, ahead of its premiere on January 17, 2025.
Season 2 picks up where the previous season's cliffhanger ending left off, with Helly attempting to expose the truth about being "severed", reports the Mirror. The actress reprised her role when the show returned on Netflix several years later in 2013, staying until the finale in 2019. Shawkat has also starred in many films over the years, including the 2015 horror-comedy film The Final Girls and, most recently, 2024’s Blink Twice.
In 2001, he was one of the producers nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture for the whodunnit film Gosford Park, in which he also starred.
