The show was hailed as an overnight success and soon featured a ton of seriously impressive celeb cameos, such as Vince Vaughn as a lying personal assistant, Bradley Cooper an an obnoxious drunk guy and Carrie Fisher as, well, Carrie Fisher.And who could forget Geri Halliwell’s Oscar-worthy performance in season six as Phoebe? Never has a person given a performance as ‘bikini-clad posh woman walking down a street in Manhattan during a heatwave’ with such complex and layered emotions. Ahem.
And what about Steve? Lovely Steve won the hearts of many due to his kind manner and hot bartender bod.'The four actresses always had a say in who played their leading men and they would meet the actors and help us with casting. We wanted them to get on and I think that’s reflected in the on-screen chemistry.
Jenny says the writers’ room had one clear rule for Carrie for the show’s entire six seasons and that was for her to not get married. Which seems shocking AF considering the first Sex and the City film focused solely around Carrie and Big’s disastrous journey to the altar.'We always knew Carrie would not get married in those six seasons. We didn’t want to send a message that the answer to your problems was to marry someone.
