"I felt like this really captured the kind of chaos as well as the kind of fun and the joy of Christmas. It's hard to do. It's hard to make an original Christmas script. I feel like [screenwriter] Tom [Parry] found a very clever idea and ran with it."
The star went on to admit that"British humour definitely has its sort of uniqueness to it", whether"being incredibly deadpan or self-deprecating or having those barbs underneath the smile". "When you really love someone, you can take the piss out of them," he added."It's gonna be fine because you love each other. And you're the only one who can kind of put that out there. On Christmas you kind of just dial that up."
