With health of other goalies in question, Sharks acquire Alex Stalock from Oilers
With the health of their two main goaltenders in question, the Sharks on Tuesday acquired Alex Stalock from the Edmonton Oilers for future considerations.
“The acquisition of Alex gives our club another goaltender with significant NHL experience,” Sharks assistant general manager Joe Will said in a statement. “He is a player we are very familiar with and someone who is extremely well-liked by his teammates.” Over his nine-year NHL career, Stalock has a record of 61-49-18, a 2.61 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
