BBC crime drama Sherwood is back for a second series this bank holiday weekend promising some old and new faces

“It’s a brand-new story which explores other sides of the community that you saw in series one and it branches into new territory,” he said. “I love the fact that every community has many stories and though we meet some of the characters that we loved from before, we have introduced lots of new characters whose lives intersect, and we ask questions about the world via them.
