Firefighters were called to Cordners Footwear on Conway Square in Newtownards shortly after 6am on Friday, March 8 and spent most of the day battling the blaze. It is believed to have been caused accidentally. In a social media post, the business owners said they were grateful for the emergency services, as well as the local community for the "love and support" shown to them.
