Like an Apple AirTag, but a fraction of the price, the discreet tracker is as thin as a bank card
Bluetooth trackers are becoming must-have items for travellers, whether you're flying out of an airport or simply making the daily commute these simple tech gadgets will follow your bags' every move. Now another gadget is proving to be a huge hit, as shoppers say they 'couldn't live without' this Apple-rivalling accessory.
At £26 the Chipolo tag is a lot cheaper than big branded rivals too, a single Apple AirTag costs £35 while a pack of four goes for around £99. Arguably the biggest sell for ditching Apple's AirTags or Samsung's Galaxy Tag is the fact that they are only compatible with their branded phones, unlike Chipolo which you can switch between iOS and Android.
This means you won't be able to ring it from your app, but it pings through to other Find My users so you can be notified your lost item has been found through the app. At just 2.15mm wide the Chipolo Card can be discreetly slipped into wallets so it may be hard to spot the device. One person said: "I no longer have to panic because I've put my wallet somewhere stupid, This tracker is superb. And it's thin enough to pop in your wallet and forget about it", while another Chipolo fan left an Amazon review saying it allows them to track their wallet that 'an airtag can't fit in'.
