Fraudsters have been creating phony websites in an attempt to steal money and personal data from shoppers.
Online shoppers have been warned to be aware of some fake Wilko websites that are currently being operated by scammers.
Administrators from PwC told The Mirror it is aware of “a number of fake Wilko websites” and reminded customers that Wilko products can now only be purchased in stores and not online. Latest shopping news PwC previously set a deadline of Wednesday August 16 for any interested businesses to place bids for Wilko, and it's reported that offers are currently being reviewed.
