Clean-up operations have begun after heavy rain and flash floods hit Shropshire, with a football club and a care home among those assessing the damage.
Care home operations director Helen Bayliss said the ground floor needed a full makeover before 10 residents could return.Water flooded the tracks at Wellington station and trains were disrupted on FridayOne flood alert remained in place on Saturday for the Tern and Perry catchments area, between Shrewsbury and Market Drayton.
"Obviously, we still haven't assessed the damage and financially what it's going to cost us. There’s still a lot to do but it’s feeling a lot better than it did 24 hours ago."
