'This report sets out just how far we’ve come'
A Nottingham school has been rated 'Good' in all areas after making significant improvements. Almost 1,300 pupils attend the Ellis Guilford School, which was inspected by Ofsted on Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21.
In the report, the inspectors stated: "School leaders and trustees have worked with determination to make improvements. They want pupils to aim high with confidence."They have designed a curriculum to achieve this." It was also found that "pastoral care is prioritised at the school" and "the vast majority of pupils behave well."
“We promise to continue to build on this success by upholding our core values – equality, integrity, and ambition – and we look forward to what the future holds.” Nicole McCartney, Director of Education at the Creative Education Trust, said: "Well done to all staff, pupils and parents at Ellis Guilford for this brilliant achievement.
