There is a good chance that Northeast Ohio could get belted with plenty of snow beginning Wednesday night.
A winter storm beginning Wednesday could bring "significant" amounts of snow to Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service.CLEVELAND, Ohio — A brief respite from the cold temperatures in Northeast Ohio might come to an abrupt end by Wednesday night.
The track of the storm remains in doubt, said Keith Jaszka, meteorologist with the NWS in Cleveland. Jaszka said that depending on how the storm progresses, the Cleveland might get mainly rain. Right now, predictions call for rain beginning Tuesday that will become a “wintry mix” by Wednesday afternoon, then will become snow later in the night. It might snow all day Thursday, sometimes very heavy.
