"They have got themselves in a situation where one way or another, nobody lasts forever. Some people would argue that keeping Harry Kane for as long as they did would be an achievement.
"There is substance around that argument, but I think coming at the door for Postecoglou, you can't have the only story in town being Harry Kane. "The economic sensibility behind that won't make sense for Tottenham Hotspur. Postecoglou would be in a situation where people would not able to help themselves and say, 'what is happening with Harry Kane'."Any manager coming in has a job in hand, to correct the ship and turn the tide back into a different set of circumstances of progressing Tottenham Hotspur and to look like they are winning something.
"If you know the player is going at some point, all you will get is what is happening with him. So, I think Spurs are disappointed he is gone, as they adored him, and are choked by it.
