, said a Cessna 172 plane appears to have flipped after one of the wheels on the small aircraft hit the grass because of a crosswind.
Caldwell said that the airplane was practicing a “touch-and-go” maneuver, which involves an aircraft briefly touching down on the runway before taking off again. The airport is managed by the city of Terrell, which is located about 35 miles east of Dallas in Kaufman County.
