A four-time Olympic gold medalist and 16-year WNBA superstar with the Indiana Fever, Tamika Catchings was elevated to vice president of Fever basketball operations on March 4, 2019. She works directly with the Fever coaching staff while maintaining day-to-day operations.
More than a basketball player, Catchings has routinely earned distinction as one of the nation’s finest citizen-athletes with committed community engagement throughout the country and even internationally. In 2015, she was inaugural winner of the ESPN Sports Humanitarian of the Year. In 2016, she became the first two-time recipient of the WNBA’s Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award and the first three-time winner of the WNBA’s Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award.
Catchings continues to serve as a national and international ambassador for the NBA and WNBA, and was recently named to USA Basketball's Women’s Developmental National Team Committee.
