Timothée Chalamet and Jason Momoa will host back-to-back episodes of 'Saturday Night Live' with musical guests Boygenius and Tate McRae.
While the current SAG strike prevents actors from publicizing their work, Chalamet is ostensibly there in honor of his forthcoming filmPete Davidson, musician Bad Bunny, and comedian Nat Bargatze, who was joined by musical guest Foo Fighters. The season has seen a few notable cameos, including Pedro Pascal, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Mick Jagger, who did histhat Chalamet was his first choice for the role, especially since the actor has a proven record of being able to sing and dance.
“It was a straight offer because he’s great and he was the only person in my mind who could do it,” King said. “But because he’s Timothée Chalamet and his life is so absurd, his are on YouTube and have hundreds of thousands of views. So I knew from stanning for Timmy Chalamet that he could sing and dance really well. And I knew that was in his arsenal, but I didn’t know how good he was. When I spoke to him he was quite keen.
“I wrote ‘Greedy’ about having the confidence to know what you want,” McRae said in a statement. “I feel like this is the first time where people are seeing a feistier and more playful side of me. This song is so unexpected, and I cannot wait for everyone to hear it.
