The SNP Government will continue to use a social media platform owned by Elon Musk despite concerns raised by Humza Yousaf over privacy. The former first minister revealed this week his fears the tech billionaire may have been able to access his private messages following an online spat between the pair. But an official spokesman said today the Government would continue to use a 'range of platforms' to communicate its messages to the public.

'I am certain he has a whole team of people who are looking at any information they can gather on me and try to use it to besmirch my reputation,' he told a podcast hosted by Tortoise Media.
