An SNP MP will today make a fresh call on the UK Government to step up its efforts to bring home a Scot who was spent more than five years in an Indian jail.
His supporters claim he has since been subjected to torture, including electric shocks, over his activism and campaigning for Sikh human rights. "After five years of incarceration in India without trial, believed tortured, this young Scot from Dumbarton is at risk of facing the death penalty.
