Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard - who stars as Tony Hutchinson in the Channel 4 soap - is reportedly lined up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
Nick Pickard is rumoured to be lining up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The soap icon is reportedly set to join the upcoming series set in the Australian jungle and will be absent from his day job at Hollyoaks whilst he heads down under.
It's expected that the show will return mid-November as it usually does - with adverts beginning to appear featuring the Geordie duo transforming into luxury hotel workers to tease fans of the imminent return.Bosses are said to be thrilled about the possibility as he comes with a "loyal following", given that he has had a starring role in Hollyoaks for decades.
"He would be fantastic and make great telly if he makes the final cut. Of course Hollyoaks was recently moved online by Channel 4 so it comes at a helpful time for the soap too, helping introduce that younger online audience to Nick via I’m A Celeb’s huge reach."
