Their sons said their mum and dad had 'many adventurous years ahead of them'
Two sons have paid a tribute to their 'wonderful' parents who died in a road crash earlier this year in Wollaton. Stuart and Claire Balmer were walking on the pavement along Bramcote Lane on March 20 when a minibus collided with them.
During their childhood Chris and Rob remember holidays with their parents to France, Germany, Denmark and Spain. Stuart was 72 years old when he died, and was a retired architect who was born in North Yorkshire. The statement from Chris and Rob added: "While hearing details of this terrible series of events has been extremely painful, the inquest can hopefully help us to start the process of healing and come to terms with the facts of what has happened.
