Story premiered at Annecy Festival on June 12, Sony confirmed. The film was made by Sony's LENS filmmaking team. LENS is an initiative that gives underrepresented groups the chance to tell stories from Sony's animation films. In a tweet, Sony wrote: "Earlier today, our talented LENS filmmaking team premiered The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story at #AnnecyFestival! Here is an exclusive first look at their short film."
