It’s a particularly dark scene - it’s been a dark season overall, but this episode might be the most disturbing yet. The Whites mistreat Alejandro with a smile on their face, under the impression that they are outstanding moral citizens. Randy comes close to having an epiphany - he even reflects on the fact that the president has helped legitimize his immoral behaviour, as the man occupying the Oval Office consistently behaves worse than Randy, and yet, remains sitting behind that desk.
It’s a wonderful conclusion to the Tergidy Farms saga, Randy’s original sin coming to his rescue. But, as Randy acknowledges, he couldn’t have succeeded without the help of the White family - it’s amazing what one can get away with, given unwavering support from a self-interested fanbase.
