SAN ANTONIO - South Texas Blood and Tissue and DreamVoice have partnered to raise awareness for blood donations.
Amid both organizations' 50-year anniversaries, South Texas Blood and Tissue and DreamVoice, organizers of DreamWeek San Antonio, announced their new collaborative Commit 4 Compassion challenge on Wednesday. San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Shokare Nakpodia, founder of DreamVoice, attended an event and spoke on the collaboration between the two charities and how this collaboration will positively impact San Antonio.
“Our challenge is to get as many people next year to donate, help their neighbors, and make our community an all-around healthier place to be,” Shokare Nakpodia said at the event. DreamWeek San Antonio 2024 is scheduled for Jan.12 to Jan. 28 and aims to encourage community members to organize blood drives and for eligible donors to donate.
