Having already got their top recruits locked in early in the shape of lookalikes for England Head Coach ‘Gary Northfence’ and Wales captain ‘Bareth Gale’, Specsavers can now reveal the first few players to have made the cut for their Second Squad.
The England lookalikes will be spearheaded by skipper ‘Harold Kone’ who will lead the line, while providing him with the ammunition that he needs in front of goal will be ‘Jock Grilledfish’, ‘Buck Soka’ and ‘Saheem Swirling’. It’s all well and good having the attack sorted, but every team needs a good spine and that will come in the shape of ‘Jordy Pitchfork’ in between the sticks, and directly in front of him at centre half will be ‘Larry McChoir’. The line-up of the lookalikes to have been revealed at this stage are rounded off with central midfield solidity in ‘Jordy Brendason’.
For Wales, alongside skipper ‘Bareth Gale’, there’s plenty of pace in the line-up thanks to ‘James Daniel’, while the experienced ‘Darren Ramsleigh’ could be crucial in the centre of midfield if they are to progress into the latter stages.and keep your eyes peeled for the squad as they’ll be supporting both England and Wales throughout the tournament, which is now only days away.
