With both returning voices and newcomers, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will explore the many Spider-People with a talented ensemble cast.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse promises to explore the many versions of Spider-Man across the multiverse, and that wouldn’t be without the help of its expansive cast. In the highly-anticipated sequel to Into the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales will return alongside Gwen Stacy and Peter B. Parker to try and stop a threat to the Spider-People.
Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider As the premiere Spider-Person in her universe, Gwen Stacy is drawn to Miles’ universe in the first film, and the two form a close friendship. Steinfeld first gained recognition for her breakthrough role in True Grit, for which she earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She’s since starred in films like Ender’s Game, The Edge of Seventeen, and the Pitch Perfect franchise.
Daniel Kaluuya as Hobart "Hobie" Brown / Spider-Punk A punk rock version of Spider-Man, Spider-Punk comes from an alternate universe ruled by a totalitarian regime. Kaluuya first gained recognition for his role as Posh Kenneth in the British comedy Skins and has since gone on to guest star in popular TV series like Doctor Who and Black Mirror. A frequent collaborator with director Jordan Peele, Kaluuya has starred in both Get Out and Nope.
Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis: Originally disapproving of Spider-Man, Miles’ dad now sees the figure as a hero after the death of his brother in Into the Spider-Verse. Henry had his breakout role in the comedy-drama series Atlanta. He has had great success in his roles in the action comedy film Bullet Train and the drama Causeway, for which he earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He was introduced as Phastos in Eternals and will likely make another MCU appearance.
