The experience is back with a family-friendly version and a 'terrifying' trail for mature guests
The Halloween Lakeside Trail returns to Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, Warrington , for another year of spooky family fun. From Friday, October 4, to Thursday, October 31, the tailor-made experience will be available for all ages to enjoy as it sways towards spooky instead of scary.
Set across 70 acres in Cheshire's countryside, the event returns for a second year following a great response from visitors in 2023. Families can set off to the mystical forest, wander through Skeletons’ Hollow, dance with friendly ghosts and pass the woodland spider’s tunnel to the witches’ lair. In addition to the trail, there is a free-to-enter welcome hub featuring live music, food outlets and themed Halloween ice cream, with more to be confirmed. There will also be a range of drinks bars while the popular toasted marshmallows and lakeside fire pits will be making a return this year.
To ensure nobody misses out, the dog-friendly attraction will also have plenty for pets selling dog treats and accessories, and the dog-friendly café will be open. Due to the popularity of the ‘Haunting’ Trail in 2023, the terrifying version of the attraction will reopen in 2024 as the Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail. The mature trail welcomes guests aged 14 and over but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only 18+ will be allowed to enter the trail after 7pm.
