Stacey Solomon has revealed the 'easy' way she has been keeping her children entertained over the school holidays by making 'homemade play sand' at home using just two ingredients
She may have catapulted to fame thanks to her incredible singing skills, but over the years, Stacey Solomon has become equally known for her amazing DIY abilities, organisation tips and genius home hacks.
Having learned from her experience of accidentally ordering too much sand for Rex’s sandpit a few years ago, Stacey decided to take matters into her own hands and make “sand” using some plain flour and coconut oil. “There are so many recipes online. I found the best consistency using 8 cups plain flour & 1.5 cups of coconut oil just mix together with your hands & it turns to sand! It’s messy but easy to clean up & they’re still playing with it now”.
