Al Green and Stafford Mayor Cecil Willis appear at an event to promote the recently announced Capital Readiness Program, a $93.5 million competitive grant program for entities that provide technical help to grow enterprises owned by minorities and women.

“Ensuring that minority businesses across the greater Houston area have access to the tools they need to succeed is of paramount importance,” Green said. “We want to make sure that every business can reach its optimum in terms of its size and ability to serve our public.”
