See who stirred up surprises in Tuesday's 1st-round tournament action
The 2022 state tournament continued Tuesday with first-round action in Groups 1 and 3.
This marked the first postseason competition for these teams since early March of 2020, so players were especially motivated to get out on the floor and perform at a high level, just as the Groups 2 and 4 athletes were on Monday. That translated into a number of compelling battles, some with expected yet still notable results and others that were downright surprising.
