The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback will return from a knee injury.
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their starting quarterback when they host the Baltimore Ravens at Acrisure Stadium. Despite dealing with a bone bruise, Kenny Pickett will be active in Week 5.
Pickett returned as a limited participant at practice to open Week 5 and progressed into a full participant by the end of the week. He said earlier in the week the team had a plan for him to be ready to play this weekend, and he is now listed without an injury tag on the final report. Pickett was originally believed to have suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee after leaving Week 4 against the Houston Texans. After an MRI, it was confirmed he just suffered a bone bruise.
Pickett wore a brace early in the week but has not been seen with one on in the locker room since. He also said he took a majority of the workload - a normal amount - during practice when he spoke to reporters.
