He could’ve retired when he was laid off before the pandemic hit, his sister, Mary Flynn, said, but wanted to continue working. He started at Papa John’s.Mary Flynn said her brother often picked up extra shifts if someone called in sick. She describes her brother as a sociable, kind person, who made impressions on people even if he met them briefly.
