Al-Ettifaq have been linked with a double swoop for Ibrox skipper Tavernier and defensive colleague Connor Goldson.
Steven Gerrard insists "everything is on the table" when it comes to Al-Ettifaq signings this summer with Rangers duo James Tavernier and Connor Goldson on his radar this summer.
Ettifaq haven't been shy in splashing the cash with Jack Hendry, Moussa Dembele, Gini Wijnaldum, Demarai Gray and Jordan Henderson - before he made a hasty return to Europe to join Ajax - all coming int the door. The Liverpool legend rounded off the campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Al-Taawoun and was quickly put on the spot about his future at his press confernce following the full-time whistle.
And while Tavernier could present a big loss to Rangers going into next season, former star Derek Ferguson has questioned why the skipper wouldn't join Gerrard in Saudi if a deal was on the table. After Tavernier ended the campaign having only lifted the League Cup with a winless record against Celtic, the pundit reckons time may be up at Ibrox the 32-year-old.
