Stewartry RFC suffered just their second loss of the season on Saturday at home to old foe Garnock, who made it five wins from five in Scottish National 4 with a 27-11 victory.
They started this game the better, too, scoring the opening try of the game after just three minutes of play. The two sides then traded blow for blow in the second half, with hard carries and clever kicks from both teams. It was only then, however, that the Blacks started to play their best rugby. They kept the ball well in tricky conditions, putting together a string of good plays through both the forwards and the backs.
