Two legendary artists are coming to Belfast on Wednesday, June 19
Ormeau Park will soon be reverberating to the sounds of some of the greatest pop songs of the 20th century, as new wave icons Sting and Blondie team up for a night of big hits and nostalgia.
Sting, meanwhile, can rely on long-time sideman Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, who has toured with Mumford and Sons. Sting - Every Breath You Take Another Police song, and one that means as much to millennials as it does to boomers, since it formed the basis of a classic by a certain 90s rapper. More dark lyrics here - it’s not as romantic as some seem to think! - it’s a masterpiece of tension and release.
