Dan Dotson. Self. Dan Dotson is a successful auctioneer and one of the most recognizable voices on Storage Wars. Dan, who has appeared in all 15 seasons, comes from a lineage of auctioneers dating back to the 1940s, and he started performing auctions when he was just 11 years old . Dan appears on the show with his wife, Laura Dotson, and together, they run the American Auctioneers company, taking their profits based on percentages of the bids.
Although Barry's decision to leave Storage Wars was unexpected at the time, the reality star later explained it, saying, "It was fun, but I had enough, and I kind of wanted to leave while it was still popular," per Distractify. Nonetheless, Barry returned to the show during Storage Wars season 14 in 2021 after a long hiatus. He has been a regular cast member since then.
